AUDIOGUIDE

Bonotto's reality is the central theme of the first step in Sky Arte's travel discovering "The Fashion Italies".
The report shows the Temple of Fabric born between these hills, founded on the raw material's cult and the faith in hand-crafted life style.
What comes to life inside the plant is not just a product to sell: it's a unique object, born by the inspiration of sensitive minds and the know-how of expert hands. Revealing the physical-aesthetic and also intimate quality of each fabric.
Recycling fifty-year-old mechanical looms and renovating the artisan figure are the key-instruments of this deep revolution, conducted by Giovanni Bonotto and cultivated by the relationship with art.
Shots are showing one of the more amazing Fluxus and Experimental poetry collection, exposed inside The Slow Factory.
Developed during many years, thanks to the great personality and passion of Luigi, Giovanni's father, friend and patron of artists come from all over the world, Collezione Luigi Bonotto is the first example of the encounter between Art and Life.
Artists coming and going in Bonotto's home and factory, artworks made by the dialogue with objects and workers from textile world. Everything leads up to the fundamental couple, artist and artisan, imagination and Hands Culture, that lives in each single spun.
