Alain Arias-Misson's exhibition opening and tapestry's presentation

For the third edition of Extra ! Le festival de la littérature vivante, will be exhibited the Alain Arias-Misson's tapestry, realized for the occasion by the artist, product by Bonotto.

Alain Arias-Misson winner of the prize Méntion Spéciale Fondazione Bonotto 2018, has for this year projected and developed a tapestry, product by Fondazione Bonotto, that will be exhibited for the first time to the public at Centre Pompidou, Paris.

Alain Arias-Misson, poet and Belgian artist, publishes since the 60s poems, news, essays and novels. In 1967 he founded the concept of Public Poem, a synthesis of poetry, performance and urban writing. Public Poems take place in public spaces, especially urban areas characterized by a concentrated human presence: metro, streets, etc. With his Public Poems, Alain Arias-Misson approaches the city as a subject of history, a meeting place and a simultaneity of signs that give life and meaning. It is to this very particular kind of living and collective poetry that this monographic exhibition will be dedicated.
