Fluxus. Concert by Diego Petrella as part of the exhibition "FLUXUS ARTE PER TUTTI"
28 February 2023 at 5pm Sala Fontana, Museo del Novecento, Milan
The exhibition Aller Boille Pignotti | Tre outsider a Roma, curated by Stefano Gallo, opens to the public. at Palazzo Merulana, Rome.
The intent of the exhibition is to investigate, analyze and propose a common link between the three artists. The sign is the protagonist, in its variable configuration, within the aesthetic and thought research of each of them.
Lamberto Pignotti, one of the pioneers of visual poetry, has always been a "builder" of alternative alphabets for an altered language where words and images are reformulated, rethought, reread and revised, cut out for sharp collages, with a deliberately apparently popular language.
In Luigi Boille, the sign is the primary element, it is an existential thing: the sign is the point where everything can begin, it is the element chosen by the artist necessary to paint, it is "being" which, distilled and reduced to a perceptible minimum, it still manages to give life to every surface investigated.
Bruno Aller, an artist of another generation, is linked to them by an ancient and strong friendship. His pictorial graphic work, which has long been characterized by the “Re-strokes” series, is linguistically distant from both previous artists.
The exhibition will present a total of about 60 works, including three of Lamberto Pignotti's 25 banners, exhibited in 2018 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, part of the Luigi Bonotto Collection
